considering I can run it at 1080p, 1920x1080, 60fps and with 16x anti-aliasing applied. (Ignore the minor lag at points, blame fraps >.>) so yeah it runs way better than the Wii can ever perform gonna try it out with some other games maybe
Sexy
Specs?
Yes it has.
Specs?
Windows 7, 64-bit NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX2+ Quad-Core
Yes it has.
love it! Looks good :D what did you use to record? I used fraps but its seemingly rubbish D:
Fraps, but you have to record to a separate hard drive. If it's trying to read the iso and then seek to a different location to write the video it destroys your FPS.
Are you playing with a hooked up wii-mote or a gamepad?
What blasphemy is this?! Hey, just wondering, is it possible to use the mouse in some games?
Mouse can replace wiimote.
I just hate how you need a really fucking good CPU to run any game decently on the emulator.
I just hate how you need a really fucking good CPU to run any game decently on the emulator.
Deal with it, it's just the way they work.
That is fucking awesome. Coincidentally, today I noticed just how bad the Wii graphics are. I knew they weren't good, but after playing this on my brother's Xbox beforehand, I was enlightened. Look at the textures on Lennon's guitar. I find it hilarious that gamers have made their own "fix" for it, too.
hey mecha how's mechasource

There's more impressive games for the Wii and that's mainly because they are only on the Wii. MH Tri for example.

If a style is used, and the developer gives a damn, Wii games can look pretty good.
What emulator do you use, Mecha?
I wouldn't say that's entirely the fault of the wii though. Devs can't be arsed. There's more impressive games for the Wii and that's mainly because they are only on the Wii. MH Tri for example.
Yeah, MH Tri looks surprisingly nice, but when you look at lazy ports like COD4, there's a real drop in graphical fidelity. I really need to try my hand at emulating ,especially the PS2 and Wii, since the emulators have progressed to the point where they actually work, and work well.
What emulator do you use, Mecha?
I too am interested in this. Its not warez is it? I own a wii but I can't be arsed to play it on a fuzzy tv with a system that barely can keep 30 fps.
Oh I dont like dolphin much. Doesnt it also play Gamecube games too? I remember having an emulator that read the physical disc and basically turned your PC into a GC.
Oh I dont like dolphin much. Doesnt it also play Gamecube games too? Dolphin is the most active (in terms of svn commits) GC/Wii emu, and is the most advanced one.
Yeah, it plays GC too. What don't you like about it? Did you try it a long time ago? They've made a lot of improvements in the last year or so.
it was about a year ago yeah. Trying it again now. MY FUCKING DOG JUST RAN INTO MY TOWER AND KNOCKED THE WHOLE THING OVER THOUGH. Last time she did this I lost 500gb of data.
Dolphin works great with the right configuration.
Man No more heroes two is a lot gritter than the first
Hey what are some reccomended settings for dolphin? I have no idea what I'm doing here. [editline]03:04AM[/editline]
Man No more heroes two is a lot gritter than the first
And 100x less annoying.
Hey what are some reccomended settings for dolphin? I have no idea what I'm doing here. [editline]03:04AM[/editline] And 100x less annoying.
Disable Fog Enable EFB Copy set to texture That's basically it for all the general games. Some games require different settings, just look up on the forum for the recommended settings for these particular games.(Also use Direct X 9 and not OpenGL obviously) When using the controller plugins, use the "New" ones and not the regular ones, the New one's function much better.
I just hate how you need a really fucking good CPU to run any game decently on the emulator.
Um. Well your running games with good graphics. [editline]derp[/editline] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WNolVPDyj4 "Only works on: Demoman Pyro Heavy (this is because I have yet to finish the remaining models)" Finish it. Now.
Using the latest SVN build, I'm getting constant flickering. Anybody have any idea what would cause this problem?
TBH it still looks like gamecube graphics :/
