GAME Award of 2010
Call of Duty: Black Ops Activision Blizzard UK Ltd/Treyarch
Please tell me you're joking.
Please tell me you're joking.
That isn't the Game of the Year award before anyone else complains. This is the category that the public votes for.
Wow, this is one funny list.
I am not satisfied.
So Britain has a bunch of morons who just play CoD and act like it's the best thing ever too? US and UK has too much in common.
Bad Company 2 deserved the Multiplayer award far more than any of the other nominees. How the fuck did a Need For Speed game even win that award.
disturbing lack of Red Dead Redemption. it wasn't even nominated for best action game not best music either what a bunch of bullshit. unacceptable, really
I can agree with some choices there
So Britain has a bunch of morons who just play CoD and act like it's the best thing ever too? US and UK has too much in common.
well the UK did found America
So Britain has a bunch of morons who just play CoD and act like it's the best thing ever too? US and UK has too much in common.
What a moronic generalization
well the UK did found America
find*
disturbing lack of Red Dead Redemption. it wasn't even nominated for best action game not best music either what a bunch of bullshit. unacceptable, really
Red Dead has a soundtrack? I love RDR and all but I barely hear any soundtrack and that which I do hear isn't -that- good but it's good enough to increase atmosphere.
I love Assassin’s Creed 3 (still w8 for PC) and F1 2010, meanwhile I dont`t give shit for other winners.
Not really surprised Mass Effect 2 got Best Game award.
What a moronic generalization
Everytime someone talks about video games at school all I hear is BLACK OPS THIS BLACK OPS THAT HURR XBAWX. Being the cool guy I am ( obviously ) I mention battlefield BC2 and they call it terrible and all this stuff. I actually find it quite amusing sometimes.
Rockstar chose not to enter Red Dead
Black Ops was boring as fuck. The story was half decent in my opinion, but I'm only saying that because I'm interested in the whole secret operations stuff. And I find the multiplayer terrible, all other CoD games I could play for hours, this one I can't play more than three games without getting bored. As a whole I don't see how a reused game with a few new models, crappy designed maps, and a few new features can be even nominated, never mind win anything. Then again, it's got a stupidly large fanbase...somehow. /rant.
Please tell me you're joking.
You have a MW2 avatar? [editline]16th March 2011[/editline] Also happy Heavy Rain won 3 awards
You have a MW2 avatar? [editline]16th March 2011[/editline] Also happy Heavy Rain won 3 awards
Yea ironic isn't it.
I really don't know why people bother having game awards anymore, they always end up as a total joke.
The problem is that the general public doesn't know what's best for themselves.
New Vegas ...strategy game? As in, categorized with Starcraft 2 and Civ5? What?
Wait, black ops was nominated for technical innovation? what the shit [editline]17th March 2011[/editline] I mean, it's not a horrible game, but technical innovation?
How, in the mother of fuck, did Black Ops manage to get nominated for Artistic Achievement and Story? And what braindead retard put Fallout New Vegas in the strategy category? What bunch of twats made this?
I agree with everything but Super Mario Galaxy 2. [editline]16th March 2011[/editline] And cut the rope. Fuck apps.
And what braindead retard put Fallout New Vegas in the strategy category? What bunch of twats made this?
It's the closest thing since there isn't an RPG category.
How, in the mother of fuck, did Black Ops manage to get nominated for Artistic Achievement and Story? And what braindead retard put Fallout New Vegas in the strategy category? What bunch of twats made this?
Indeed. I remember a die hard call of duty fan tried explaining the story to one of my friends. He casually pointed out all the plot holes which left the fanatic speechless. It was pretty funny.
Bad Company 2 deserved the Multiplayer award far more than any of the other nominees. How the fuck did a Need For Speed game even win that award.
Hot Pursuit was actually extremely good. It wasn't made by the usual NFS team, it was developed by Criterion who made the burnout series.
Fallout New Vegas for every category please.
