I've seen pics of this. It looks sweet as hell. Espiacally the huge monsters.
Why, the first one was complete shit.
Varför, den första var komplett helvete.

Maybe it sold good?
First one wasn't shit
Oh look, the 360 is the one getting left out in the cold this time, happens rarely...
And the first one was not shit.
Here's a chance to catch up up what's coming for lost planet 2.
Some older stuff first:

And two exclusive images leaked on the capcom forum (and removed but saved and reuploaded before the topic got removed):

that squid looks like a delicious bag full of thermal energy
However I can't find the TE on the strange dinosaurs.
According to wikipedia it's being released on PS3/360 but not the PC. Derp.
Oh bump. I've played the first demo or whatever you could call it, the multiplayer one which was released a few months ago.
:iia:

Yeah. It might be that sort of orangy thing on his head though. Sir om nom nom also has the semi orange spike when you hit it often enough. Else it must be on it back. OR it's a huge ass boss you fight with the train cannon.
Oh it's also possible you have to kill him from the inside.

Bad company 2 beta too :v:
It's also surprising how akrids looked like insects but when put in a jungle environment they suddenly become dinosaurs.
The second picture of the monster looks like the sensory chamber from Natural Selection.

Lost planet 2 does not only feature jungle area's. But also desert, city/urban and most likely also the old snow area's.
I do believe this one is found in the desert, but it's just a hunch.
When is this demo out?
Demo has been out for a long time for the Xbox and Playstation
That first picture could indicate some kind of online coop thing. Monster hunter in the future, anyone? :excited:
Yup and if you wonder if it's worth trying, it's not that hard to find a 4 player party. (as in, it's not dead )
@Frozen:
Spot on. Lost planet 2 will be coop 4 player monsterhunter ish. Infact, In japan capcom markets the game as a New monster hunter experience (because games with guns don't sell there). Capcom has two marketing strategies. One for Asia and one for the western market.
Oh fuck that's awesome
Need this game NOW

It IS coming out for the 360, right?
Yes.
it's 1080p versus PS3's 720p/1080i.
ps3 version also has weaker AI and "dumb" weapon spawns in the demo.
lost planet is originally for xbox but is also ported for the ps3.
Besides, Lost planet is an "AAA" xbox 360 title. Mainly for it's online multiplayer.
Oh and by the way, OP picture is a bit outdated.

The demo was a lot of fun. Me and my buddy put a few hours into it, just killing that giant beast several times.

I just wanted to bump to let you know how exclusive the two images posted earlier are.
The squid image has been officially released 30th of December. The other is still a leak.
At the time of posting the images they were both leaks and we were asked to remove them from our website as we were the only ones on the web that had them.
Just so you know facepunch, you are extremely lucky to see those images.
I wonder if you can go inside the squid like you can in the Demo with the other monster, I mean, and remain alive, just look at the picture, he's being Eaten!
And Jamaican Dinosaurs? Sweet!
No the squid is a small enemy. It's about 1 and a half to twice the size of a person.
