Not like specific enemies or anything just ambient noises or a certain level or things like that. For me one of the things has to be the female combine voice over from Half Life 2. Hearing it just scares me for some reason. This is what I mean. Post yours.
The Water Wraith from Pikmin 2 and Vertigo from Resident Evil 4.
The potential in horror games that someone might come up from behind. I always walk nearly backwards, and then I get scared by enemies that would come from front.
Any time the game developers use the cheap "Oh this place looks kinda sc-*something pops up suddenly* OH GOD"
Also swimming in water in FPS games scares me too.
Usually it's screams in the ambient sounds of a map. Say, in Half Life 2, the howls of zombies every now and then in certain maps.
The options button. It fucking stares you down
Underwater enemies.
It used to be going noclip in a game and getting lost. I'd get really panicky for no reason. x100 if there was that weird repeating flashy colors thing that sometimes goes on
Stuff like this, well directed horror rather than jump from the shadows horror

Running out of power for any light-emitting device.
"Omega 3 fatty oils are good for your heart!" - Taken in Alan Wake. when they just blurt that out with the weirdest toning and pressurization, you know shit already hit the fan and to run for the lights!
Fucking COUGARS in Red Dead Redemption. That is all.
Those isolated dark parts of a level that you just SENSE will try to scare you in some way. Then nothing happens and you let your guard down and then something scares the shit out of you
Anything that jumps me in FEAR :ohdear:

Water in general freaks me out, with the exception of Bioshock/2, the Splicers, at some points, where freaky enough.

Sharks.
The Farmhouse from Condemned: Criminal Origins. It doesn't need enemies to scare you, just an incredibly creepy atmosphere that makes you feel like something horrible could happen at any moment. What really did it were the fucking window shutters that made noises that sounded like someone else's footsteps.
This room. It's not an enemy, nor does it have any plot or level significance. It's just kind of there.
Whenever I cheat or glitch in a game it feels like I'm playing with the occult or some reason.
In really creepy atmospheres, the little sounds that always play are the worst things ever. Like you hear voices or footsteps, or even some door closing or something.
When I get attacked suddenly.
Scares the shit out of you if you're not expecting it.
Being completely alone in Gmod I feel like some screamer/scary ass npc can appear anytime from hidden commands scripted in one of my addons :tinfoil:
I hate robots. In any game, robots are almost always harder to kill, better at hearing, and better equipped. Like in Deus Ex, for example.
