Guitar Hero Thread - Games - Facepunch Forum

Anyone play it anymore? Anyone any good? And please, no "play real guitar" posts, as I do :) I've been playing Gh since mid 2009, now I'm decent at expert level. I have 23 expert FC's on GH3 (when you go through the song hitting all the notes and not overstrumming) and have 4*ed TTFAF. I'm looking forward to Fury of the Storm being in GH6 :D

Pshh, I started playing expert in the first few minutes. Normal was wayy too slow.

I can play every song on every game on Expert, get 4 stars on most songs, though there's some (Rock This Town on GH2 :argh:) which I have 3 stars and hate the song enough to never go back and try improve it. [editline]07:47PM[/editline] I also dont understand what is so hard about Freebird.. played it first shot on expert... it ended and I said "is that it" I found Laid To Rest and Madhouse [B]much[/B] harder. Been playing since whenever GH1 was released. Bought it the day it came out. [editline]07:51PM[/editline] Been meaning to post a vid to youtube for just over a year... Never really got around to it, and not sure how to record it. [editline]07:57PM[/editline] First song I played, Easy... I Love Rock n Roll. I barely strung two notes together... failed twice, then just scraped through.

I've 5*'d every song on expert in every game across GH and RB excluding DLC. I've played that game way too much and I stick to Rock Band drums now. 5*'d all songs in all Rock Band games on drums too, excluding DLC.

I'm a "casual" GH-player who plays them for fun with friends. I pretty much always play drums if I can, guitar (doh) on the older ones. Sure I can do Expert and Expert+ (other pedal broke :frown:) but I ain't that good in it. Only FC I've EVER gotten was KISS: I was made for loving you. :v:

My mom and her friend got in the newspaper for playing guitar hero. They went over to her friend house every friday to play. My friend got to be in the picture too, he thought he was soooo cool. I skipped the photo op and went to party, and he tried to brag about how he stayed at home on a friday night playing PS2 with his mom.

I have only 3 stars on TTFAF on expert right now although i might get 4 if i ever thought to turn down the hyper speed. Its all pretty dull without not seeing the notes 'til they're half a milisecond from the fret bar.

I usually get 4 or five stars on a song with expert/expert+ drums. I got 5 stars on Brianstorm by the artic monkeys on expert drums.

Guitar hero is super easy! Play a Challenging game like Rock Band!

@Delta616 - I play both, because I can? I don't get the fanboyism. I bought Greenday Rock Band the other day and Full Game 5*ed it within a few hours. Fun though :) and I'm looking forward to Rock Band 3 as well as GH6

Hey guys, just a simple question. Uh, are Guitar Hero controllers compatible with Rock Band?

Yeah apart from the Beatles Rock Band guitars which aren't compatible with GH3..that compatibility thing posted above me is useful.
