I was digging through my garage, and i found the original half life. is there a way i can load it into gmod?
Buy the source version It's the same thing only on a compatible engine.
if you aint got it on steam yet enter the key on it. you wont get the stuff in gmod though.
You can't use GoldSrc games as add-ons for GMod, only Source games like Half Life: Source.
I can see how if someone is living under a rock, Buys HL2 and gmod and then ties to put he's HL1 stuff into gmod from he's original HL game dsic...He's gonna be pissed.

Get the Half-Life Renaissance v1.2 pack and the Renaissance pack quickfix from GMod.org. It's pretty big, but it has lots of NPCs, ragdolls, weapons, etc.
That, or buy Half Life: Source and get all the content from that.
Otherwise, the GoldSrc content can't be put onto a Source game.
