I'm kinda confused, why is everyone keep bitching about Microsoft? i mean.. they made a fine console. Sure it had problems and and stuff like RRoD and the R error.. But it seems they fixed it all..
Next is there E3 press show.
Well yes. the kinect games where kinda fucked up.. Just like the wii, but i think you can do some awesome shit with the motion cam and the Voice commands like the showed on the E3.
Till now most people are bitching about the 360´s hardware, the RRoD. well that problem is just old as fuck. First there is motherboard JASPER who fixes this problem for a big part. second we not have the new Xbox 360 Slim(?). who should fix a large part of the hardware/software failures
I find it very nice of MS to fix all the problems. yes they are late. yes they sometimes trow out to much money, but c'mon.. Give all consoles a chance.
And why the fuck are those Comparison video's made?

I will speak for both consoles.. i don t see a fucking change! Why are people making these? If the xbox 360 has better graphics, so what? if the PS3 has better graphics, so what? no one is going like: hahaha [Insert console] haz much better graphic lolz. You will not see the difference while you play. right?
The xbox 360 does have a nice lineup with exclusives and one of the best community's there is.
The reason of the "Screaming child's" is that Microsoft was so kind to put a headset in every Xbox 360 bundle (If im right)
In the end i want to point out. Please do not bitch about Mirosoft. serious they are just trying to do something for the gamers. Playstation and Nintendo does have a longer experience in the zone of gaming, Xbox came later.

As far as the Xbox, I didn't see anyone really bashing it in the first place, except for the usual fanboys, but those are the same people that have been bitching about each other's console for the past few years.
Personally, I don't understand why so many people choose the 360, I feel the PS3 is an all around better console. Mostly the media stuff, the only thing the 360 has is that, for some reason, more people I know have one. Plus the indie game market is very nice tbh, but everything is proprietary on the 360.

You do understand that Microsoft is a corporation, correct?
Just like the other companies (some say more-so) Microsoft is in the business to make money. The cheapest, easiest, way to make money is by catering to the so called casuals, which make up a very large market. The games that cater to that crowd are simplistic, and are made for short bursts of gameplay.
The RROD problem [i]was[/i] Microsoft's fault; they knew that the consoles ran extremely hot, but in an attempt to be the first "next-gen" console out there, they ignored it. Obviously, as returns skyrocketed, making them lose money, they went to new motherboards with smaller (or different) chipsets in an attempt to fix that.

I play both, and don't really see the difference between cross-pc and console games.
But for games only on pc, like crysis, etc... The graphics are much better.
But if your going around telling your friends that if he plays EMMDUBYA TWO on the pc it will look better, you best be shittin me. Its the same.
Also, I play console mostly, and I do pretty good in games, when I play any FPS on the PC I do WAY BETTER, or the same. So don't say "OH I PLAY PC I KICK YOUR CONTROLLER ASS LOLOLOLOL"

Well the new motherboard did fixed the problem, the only way to create a RRoD is just placing it at a bad spot..

It's cheaper and it came out first, that's why most people have one. Both systems are good and worth buying. I'm looking to buy a cheap PS3 when I get my college grant at the end of the month because it has kick ass exclusives. I find the main reason to choose a 360 or PS3 are the exclusives and the controllers, I hate the PS3 controller, it just feels wierd to me.
I'd be fine with Microsoft's whole Xbox thing if they weren't trying to push it onto PC with Games For Windows Live. That thing ruined GTA4 for me. It's fucking horrible. [B]AND SO XBOX[/B]

It did not fix the problem, it simply reduced the chances of it happening. Unfortunately, RRODs are not caused simply by placing it "in a bad spot". Opening up my 360, the metal on the bottom of the casing, located above the heat pipe, is warped and colored after however many years of use, and it is located in a spot with nothing around it.
For the record, I have a launch console that I purchased used a year ago, which is still going strong. But I realize this is anecdotal evidence, and that the RROD problem is very, very real.
I have always preferd xbox for gaming. even though I grew up on the PC. Also PC gaming cost a lot of money :saddowns: I also have a PS3 but I have not played it much. I dont know of any good games to play with it. v:v:v But I suppose that is my fault in not looking hard enough.
Nothing really, I play both xbox and PC games. I prefer PC games, though I do play Xbox with friends.
The reason i picked the Xbox is just because most of my friends has it, Also bought a PS3 recently.
I really like both systems but its pretty weird that the Xbox is the main console to bash because of the hardware failures.

You left out the part that Microsoft isn't frugal with their bans, or the fact that you have to pay for a service that's equally as good on a different console but free.

There is a difference between the PSN and XBL.
XBL does offer more, but i prefer not to talk about it otherwise im the flame starter...

First of all, you're not going to calm down the flame war. Don't try.
Second of all, it's just showing random facts about the PS3 versus the Xbox. If you didn't want people to come in with stuff like this, you shouldn't have made the thread.
Meh. They seem the same. The reason because I got a xbox 360 is every one of my friends have a 360 except for like, two. So I got it to play games with my friends.
The only reason I bought a 360 was to play games with all my mates who have the 360. Being sociable was my main interest in the purchase.
