Can't resist making another thread about this, so here it goes: Info: The American Girls Premiere was an educational application/game developed and published by The Learning Company for American Girl. The game comes with everything you need for making your theatre productions, and a Microsoft Sam-esque text to speech engine if you don't feel like dubbing your own voice ingame. You can get a copy on eBay or download it from the link below. The Characters Felicity Merriman (1774): Colonial tomboy from Williamsburg, Virginia. Known by her friends as a spunky, active little princess who's fed up with all the stuff that young ladies are supposed to do (or are they?). Josefina Montoya (1824): daughter of a rancher in Mexican-controlled Southwest. Her mama just died before the start of her series, but she got over it when her aunt came in. Kirsten Larson (1854): One of the OGs in the series, she was an immigrant from Sweden who came to Minnesota during the Pioneer days. Addy Walker (1864): The only black kid in the group, idk. she first started off as a slave in North Carolina, then escapes to Philadelphia during the Civil War. Samantha Parkington (1904): A rich orphan who lives with her rather conservative Grandmary during the Edwardian era. She likes progress, new inventions, and is interested in the changes that was happening in the early 1900s. Molly McIntire (1944): Daughter of a doctor who served the Army as a field medic during WWII. Dunno why she reminds me of the TF2 Medic. You can make it run off the hard drive with a simple hack, though; I'll post the instructions on how to do so later.
wat
Hahahaha
So your supposed to beat up girl isnt it?
Oh my god, we had a program on our school computers much like this when I were in 2nd grade. It doesn't look much different actually. I got to try this out at some point.
oh this is a can of fuck begging to be opened
My sister had this game when we were younger.
what did I just saw
Here's how to run it off the hard drive, without mounting: Copy the AMGPxDAT.MDT (i.e. AMGP1DAT.MDT to AMGP3DAT.MDT) files from the DATA folder on disk 1 and disk 2 to a new folder, i.e. DATA, in the directory where you installed the game. Fire up regedit, and then go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\TLC\AMGirls2. Find the key that says datapath, and then replace the path with the folder where you stuffed the .MDTs. Copy the AMGCD1.ID and AMGCD2.ID files to the root of your C drive. Then change the root in the CDlink.ini file on the game directory to c:\ Run the game, choose a character to play as, and if the stage shows up, you're good to go. IDK as to why it doesn't on mine, though, might have to check out my VM. It did work on Windows 7 x64 before, but I'm not sure as to why it doesn't fucking show up nowadays.
Oh man this is better then the Spider-man create a adventure
Page layout is like Little House on the Prairie meets a badage boys thread.
For a second I thought this was a new style of badage boys.
An illustrated guide for those who want something clearer: Make a DATA folder in your game's directory. This is where you'll stuff the assets for the game to run. They can be found on the data folders in disk 1 and disk 2. Go to your AmGirls Premiere directory, and then edit cdlink.ini; change the drive letter to C:\ or whatever drive you stuffed the game on: Fire up regedit. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TLC\AmGirls2. Now edit the datapath entry, and change its value to the folder where you installed the game: Last but not the least, copy the .ID files from Disk 1 and Disk 2, to the root of the drive you installed the game: If you ended up with a stage after choosing a character, then congratulations!
I remember this shit, it was fucking hilarious. The Hitler parodies fit perfectly, by the way.
For a second I thought this was a new style of badage boys.
I was about to say the same thing. GOTY though.
If only that I could do this directly ingame: Samuel versus Samantha?
If only that I could do this directly ingame: Samuel versus Samantha?
It wouldn't be that hard to stick in your own "dolls", would it?
It wouldn't be that hard to stick in your own "dolls", would it?
Actually a fellow Xentax member was asking about that: http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=6816 He did manage to unpack the .MDTs containing the character files, but the extracted bitmaps were a mystery.
Nice gifs
Nice gifs
Nice contentless bump.
How do people even find these old threads?
More importantly, why have I only just found out about this now?
Can I use this to make a gif where one of the girls ask a guy to pull her finger, he does so then she bends over and vegetables and animals fly from her ass? Or any other sort of props for that matter.
This might be even better than Stop Bullying Bitstrips.
