First of all my specs are: 2gb of ram A Intel Dual core processor at 2ghz (T7250) GeForce8600m GT 512 Mb video card. Running Windows XP In game even at the lowest settings I still get choppy frame rates which makes it quite hard to play. And idea what is causing this or is my laptop just shitty?
You need to upgrade everything. laptop is a peace of ass.
Figured. It's 4 years old, was originally made for Vista, and wasn't the best 4 years ago either. [editline]01:22AM[/editline] Fuck my lack of money.
You can try out this Borderlands Configuration Editor. It lets you drop the game settings even lower than the in-game settings allow (as well as letting you tweak some annoying aspects of the game). Try disabling the outline shader and v-sync and lowering the texture resolution a lot. The game will look a lot worse but might at least be playable.
Try defragging your computer. My laptop has worse specs than that and can run it fine.
That computer should run it fine.
Well hi there dolton.
Hey there Dylan. If you don't give ODST back soon, you might get hurt more then Sash. Cept it won't be from doing a flip off your deck.
Mine's worse and I don't get choppy play. Try entereing -dxlevel 81 if you have Steam version. Lower graphics to directx 8.1 for better FPS. Mine's not that choppy.
It might have something to do with my processor running at 98 Celsius.
