I never played any montly fee MMO's. Any suggestions? Darkfall - MMORPGFPS - Fantasy World of Warcraft - MMORPG - Fantasy Planetside - MMORPGFPS - Sci-fi EVE Online - MMORPG - Sci-fi
Darkfall. http://youtube.com/watch?v=6Ffmri2liFU Its a Fantasy FPS MMO so MMORPGFPS.
World of Warcraft if you're into fantasy MMOs. Planetside if you like FPS games more than fantasy. It's basically a sci-fi FPS with huge battles.
I'd say WoW or EVE Online. Or if you're up for a shitload of grinding, you can even try Runescape, but it's full of little kids and has totally turned into a kids game.
Are you saying WoW isn't shitloads of grinding?
WoW has nothing to do with grinding. There is never any need for grinding in WoW, which is why I love it.
..What.
This.
..What.
What, what? I mean grinding as in you need to kill a three digit number of mobs to level up. What is there to understand? There is always enough quests in WoW, you never need to kill shitloads of the same mobs or repeatedly do anything over and over again. Or let's just say that, WoW is the one of the MMOs which includes the LEAST amount of grinding, since you seem to classify grinding as killing any mobs at all. [editline]01:50PM[/editline] Furthermore, if you think WoW does include a shitload of grinding, you indeed have not played much other MMOs, go play for example Silkroad or as I said, Runescape. Silkroad I got tired of when I saw that all the quests were "Kill X number of these mobs" and the X keeps getting more digits, three digits lost my interest.
It's weird when I tried the WoW trial, every quest was "Kill x amount of these enemies and get x amount of quest items"
It's true that there are lots of the same type of quests, but they vary a lot, the locations vary, the mobs vary and their abilities are different and such. It offers more variety than any other MMO I have seen yet, and there's enough quests that it's no longer about killing mobs to level up, but questing to level up unlike many other MMOs. And the expansions have brought in lots of new types of quests with new mechanics.
It's weird when I tried the WoW trial, every quest was "Kill x amount of these enemies and get x amount of quest items"
Most of the pre-60 quests are like that, hence why they are completely re-doing them with Cataclysm.

Can we please stay On-Topic. Thanks for the good idea's.
Take into consideration.
Grinding on different enemies in different places is still grinding.
Indeed, but if the variations do not satisfy you, then I suggest you just leave MMOs altogether. Or you could just PvP to level up, but that would be agonizing.
Can we please stay On-Topic. It's a very complex one though in my opinion.

Wonder when goonswarm is going to take darkfall over.
In my expierence if a game isn't confident enough in itself to provide potential new players a free trial it is not worth trying at all.

Dark Fall was a piece of shit, beta tested for about seven months, played officially for two. Massive disappointment, until they put in the features that were originally promised, I am not touching that pile of shit.

Especially if you were in a shitty clan.
Darkfall. Its a Fantasy FPS MMO so MMORPGFPS.
This looks approximately as fun as having teeth torn out by a dentist.
Three words: Eve online
Three words: Eve online
don't you mean two rated you heart because some heartless bastard rated you dumb :(
Three words: Eve online
Which is approximately as fun as watching dentist tear out somebody's others teeth.
Which is approximately as fun as watching dentist tear out somebody's others teeth.
In other words, Very exciting?
Which is approximately as fun as watching dentist tear out somebody's others teeth.
I wouldn't mind watching that.
They changed a shit-ton of stuff on Darkfall since beta, and to be honest, 2 months really isn't a lot. Darkfall is the Duke Nukem Forever of the MMO genre.
Darkfall is the Duke Nukem Forever of the MMO genre.
Yeah its kickass, still being developed and being fixed with the help of the community. The beta sucked i agree, but now they promised and fixed soo many things it's a decent game. as the darkfall community says. "Go backto WoW carebear" You don't know shit you havn't played, probaly a noob that went red and was stuck in a chaos city. also their artists have been making improvements to the armour http://www.darkfallonline.com/images/Darkfall_armour_2010.jpg
