Call of Duty World at War multiplayer crashes after connecting to server

I have a steam copy and I recentently reinstalled Call of Duty World At War and whenever I conenct to a multiplayer server moments after joining the game crashes with no error. I wondered if it could be the CD key. Latest drivers and everything installed

My Specs:

OS: Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate
RAM: 4GB Corsair
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 @ 2.66 Ghz
GPU: ATI Sapphire Radeon 5770 1GB

Turn off steam ingame overlay thingy. Used to have this problem.

Oh and if you play in ZooYork's server can you tell them to unban Bobibbles? Those 'tards thought I was hacking because I got 50-10 in like 4 minutes. :argh:

You don't have to because I thought about it and they might not listen to you/no admins there. And it should work because that is the problem 90% of the time when new people cannot get in a game.

O.k and sadly it didn't work,

Game joined as usual and then screen goes black with last heard sound.

What? Really? That's strange.
My specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
1 GB 4670
AMD AthlonII x2 250 @ 3.0 Ghz
4 GB RAM

So turning off steam community ingame did not work. Maybe it is because you are using Windows Ultimate? Also, do you get any error message?

I guess it doesn't like Windows Ultimate. Try searching on some other forums, like Call of Duty ones.

I have a friend on Windows Ultimate 64 bit like myself and he has no problems what so ever :(

I used to have my graphic card overheating and this would happen. Atleast I think my graphic card was overheating... Screen goes black and you may hear some sounds before it goes completely quiet and still. Had to restart and so. I don't really know, I never fixed it.
