EA sucks. SOOO much. - The EA Store is the worst possible online retailer on the planet - Every single non-EA Sports game they produce sucks (even then, there are some EA Sports games which suck the hardest shit ever) - Their CEO looks like he sucks literal dick, and knows literally nothing about video games [img]http://cinema.usc.edu/assets/033/8623.jpg[/img] - If you want help from EA, you can't call them, but have to instead login to your EA account (even if you already are logged in on the main site), create a question, and wait about a day for a response. - If you want help from EA, they'll give you the vaguest response possible and try to frustrate you to the point where you want to fly over to India and strangle the fucked with your hands - They can't make a good game by themselves (they haven't developed a SINGLE non-EA Sports game since James Bond: From Russia With Love) -EA can publish games, but they sure as fuck can't make them Like SERIOUSLY! How the fuck is EA still successful and making games when they are all so FUCKING shitty and everyone plays them for about 2 hours and then never touches them again. They are destroying games by pumping out the same shit every fucking year. [b]THE ONLY THING EA IS GOOD FOR IS PUBLISHING[/b]. A prime example of this is Maxis. Maxis is fucking awesome and made the most amazing game ever: The Sims. EA decided, "Hey, this is a fucking awesome game, let's buy the developer!" and BAM! 10 years later The Sims 3 comes out under EA's name with absolutely no Maxis branding anywhere to be found on the box. EA is taking over, and taking credit for stuff that isn't even theirs! Everyone might love EA for their cool games, but really the only games they produce are complete and total shit, whereas their good games are by smaller developers who rely on EA to publish them to a massive market. I wish there was something we could do to fuck EA in the asshole but right now they have a monopoly on video games. So all I can say is, [b]FUCK EA[/b].

System Shock 2 (and the original C&C games) were made before EA sold its soul to the corporate devil. Mirror's Edge was made by DICE, published by EA Army of Two and Dead Space were the only two games you listed that are made by EA in modern times.

Pretty sure Dead Space was actually developed by EA, and EA has also published many good titles (see above). The company has really gotten a lot better in the last few years. Activision, on the other hand...

EA is getting better Activision is getting worse. They passed each other about a year back, and Activision became the worst company

EA sucked in 2004... they've since learned from their mistakes and Activision has taken the title of the Assholes of the Industry.

Yeah EA had a period of being horrible but they mostly recovered from that and are 10x better than Activision or Ubisoft.
