I already own one of the very original CD distributions of X3: Reunion. But I want Terran Conflict. Bad.
As fun as Reunion was back in the day, it has nowhere near the flexibility and opportunity that Terran Conflict gives, easing players into the universe. So I hear.
As such, what's a better purchase: X3 Gold, or just Terran Conflict? What's the ideal price, or a cheap price available at retail? Is it better to go with Steam?
Terran conflict has everything reunion does, and more. Steam price is fine, but you should have obviously bought it a couple weeks back.
You know, Either is a good deal, you may like X3 Reunion + Xtended mod from time to time, and Terran Conflict from time to time. Personally I would go with just TC though, It's everything Runion has, and the best parts of Xtended with a bit of Polish
F'you ask me just get TC. I left Reunion for TC and I didn't regret it.

I'd say just TC. I've never looked back to reunion after getting it.
Also TC is actually better for a new player imo. Starts an entirely new storyline (as if the plot mattered) and has an easier interface.
Yeah just go with TC. Better in pretty much every way. Reunion (and even to some extent TC) turned people away because it was so hard to get into.
