Enter wayfarer.

You can enter various stores to buy things.
You then go down a little staircase to a dungeon.

When ever I go into the pit, happy music plays and black monsters come out of the dark and maul me.

Can you give us more info? What can you do other than kill stuff? Can you buy houses, chop wood, herd goats?

At level 57 you go to NY city and meet the muppets.

quite fun to play. Good interface for a roguelike.
After you complete the dungeon there's nothing to do though.
