If anyone has yet to notice the Bioshock 2 4-Pack Deal, then go check it out. I am making this thread in-hopes of joining some people together in groups to purchase the 4-packs and distribute them accordingly. Each group will need one member to be responsible for receiving the money from other members, purchasing the pack, and distributing the games. Keep in mind PayPal is needed for this (or some other trusting way of sending money to the group financial leader) in order to gather the amount needed. If anyone is interested in participating, there are a couple of easy methods to keep this organized:
If you want to list a specific group of people (2 - 4 people), then post these specifics.

If you want to be put in any available group, mention so.

After a group is full, the group members will need to decide who is the financial leader and report it to me so I can update the main post.

Any left-over individuals will be placed in a backup-list to be pooled from in-case of any dropouts.
Try to preference known, trusted individuals over others in your group decisions. Any and all transactions are performed at your own risk. Neither I nor Facepunch are responsible for any lost finances or products. Group I: (1/4)
x-quake

Even though I won't be buying Bioshock 2 right now, I'd be delighted if someone would gift me a copy of Bioshock 1 if they've got any leftovers :3:
Even though I won't be buying Bioshock 2 right now, I'd be delighted if someone would gift me a copy of Bioshock 1 if they've got any leftovers :3:
Game is boring for me. Rate me dumbs, but it seriously doesn't really feel that awesome. I got a retail box, but the problem is with shipping.
If anyone gets Bioshock 2 and already has 1, they can gift you their extra copy.
If anyone could gift Bioshock 1 to me as well, that'd be fantastic. I didn't get a chance to buy it before because I was using a card that didn't have shader 3. If they do, I'll gift them something later, as I'll be getting my pay within the week or so.
I think I might get this at some point. Should I buy Bioshock one first to get the story?
You buy this and you get Bioshock for free. Bioshock is a really bad shooter but everything else is great.
You buy this and you get Bioshock for free. Bioshock is a really bad shooter but everything else is great.
I think I shall indeed do that, how big is the Bioshock 1 if I end up getting the pack. (as in file size)
If I remember ~6GB
If I remember ~6GB
Hmmm, I might just borrow the xbox version from a friend. My internet is ungodly slow.
i cant decide if i should buy bioshock now or leave it to do later and buy avp what should i do guys? :c
You buy this and you get Bioshock for free. Bioshock is a really bad shooter but everything else is great.
It's not that bad.
Damn, I would buy Bioshock 2 but I need to pay for a new monitor, my friend is taking back the one he gave me for Christmas, what a douche :frown: I'll own it eventually...
I would also highly appreciate if anybody who end's up with leftover Bioshock 1 copy could gift it to me.
If anyone can gift me Bioshock, that would be cool :)
It's not that bad.
this game feels like it wants to a melée fighter game. No shooter should have health bars. It's a cop-out so it can be called an RPG
Bioshock seems like an odd choice for a four pack. It's not as if it has co-op or anything, just a standard multiplayer.
The point of this is a cheaper deal. Around $33 per person. This thread is turning into a "gift me Bioshock" thread. This was definitely not the intention. I'm sure some people would be happy to gift you Bioshock I after buying Bioshock II, but there needs to be some purchases made.
I would purchase it, if it worked under Wine, which I am almost certain it yet doesn't, so it's a bit out of my concern. On the other hand, Bioshock seems to work just fine, and there is high probability of people in this thread coming out with having extra copies. Sorry for abusing your thread through
I was going to preorder it before I lol'd at this: 3rd-party DRM: SecuROM™ 5 machine activation limit
When are you going to install it on five different PCs? [editline]09:23PM[/editline]
The point of this is a cheaper deal. Around $33 per person. You would call the first Bioshock, Bioshock. And the second, Bioshock 2

Someone let me know once the purchases with extra copy's start stacking up.
il take an extra bioshock 1 if anyone buys it
