"In the year 2299, an interstellar war rages on. In a bid to save Earth from destruction, you must take control of the Strike Suit – a revolutionary fighter craft with the ability to transform into a lethal suit of space armor. Immerse yourself in massive fleet battles where your dog-fighting skills will directly affect the fate of the cosmos."

Despite what it looks like the game is not all about the suit and there is 3 other ships instead of the suit. It pretty much plays like freelancer 2 with battles being based around capital ships. Especially with its ability to choose your ship/loadout for each mission and your performance affecting the final outcome.
Multiplayer is not planned but is considered

The mech side of the gameplay looks really promising but I'm not really a big fan of space battles
still pretty on the fence about getting this.
I wish they'd make an at least semi realistic space combat game. like what was Project Hullbreach...
why do they have to keep making this game over again and not make a game like hullbreach? all the pew pew is getting mundane let's get more dakka and single shot kills ranging from a bullet going through a visor splattering blood all over the inside to hitting an air tube and watching someone spin off and die.

Shattered Horizon, try it.
I was pondering why there wasn't a thread on this, so if anyone whom has played this might give an idea how accurate the specifications are (I've seen some citing 2gb minimum, others 4gb.) it'd be a help. Also, I see you thar Meri.
Yeah I have yet to see a decent actual simulator set in space.
There is Starshatter: the gathering storm and evochron but they both really lacked in gameplay.
But however for now we got these nice arcade ones thatll do.
Looks pretty damned cool, the whole fighter-transforming-into-mech reminds me alot of the macross animes. I'll have to buy this this weekend.
You want turbo gritty mega realistic space flight sim? Go follow Star Citizen.
You want high paced arcade spacey shooty? Play this.
Glad we got this now, it'll hold me over a little longer until Star Citizen comes out...
