When ever I try to get hl2 ep2 i get a message saying "The steam servers are too busy to handle your request, please try again in a few minutes."
I deleted blob file,
changed to all different servers available in settings>downloads

and did the "regedit" in run.
now what?
I want to play hl2 ep2 but i can't get it. Help please!

Restarted steam a few times still didn't work but i almost got to the end. I'll wait 10 mins and see what happens
You're probably capped.
That or go into Task Manager and end the HL2.exe process. Or can the GameOverlayUI.exe make it say that too?

that's what happened when I preordered L4D2 at Gamestop and brought it home. It took forever before i could actually install it. after deleting client registry blob it worked... WTF
still not working. tried client registry blob already.

Stop Being on cracked Steam
Oh please stop with this "You have pirated it hurr durr". If he has that problem that doesn't mean he has pirated it. Actually even I have problems with it. A big one; not even a single game will start. The "Preparing to launch" tab appears for a sec then it dissapears. I tried everything possible to fix it (deleted the .blob, restarted steam,restarted the PC,reinstalled Steam,updated every possible driver,cleaned the registry,checked the firewall,checked the ports). I'm out of options, I want the play the goddamn BC2 beta!! :suicide:

GOT IT! What you have to do is delete blob file, then Go to "Start" -> "Run" and then enter "RegEdit" and delete the valve folder in the registry called:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve
then keep pressing it until it works!
