I have a computer that can run crysis on medium, and I'd like to know some good games that are way worth it and have some nice story to them.

I thought fable was a decent game.
I've played trough fable, machinarium, Deus Ex, Morrowind, Oblivion, most source games, all the penumbra games and some more.
Torchlight if you like Diablo; Spelunky if you like challenging platformers with nice twists. N+ is cool too.
I kinda liked Fallout 3's story
I got trine and I freaking love it, beautiful graphics, awesome controls, great story and really fun to play. Been playing it for about 5 hours straight now, my brain is completely fried.
Gonna get Torchlight next.

Dude, Crysis is Crysis. I run Crysis at all Med, but just about every other game, except for some coming out soon/ came out in the last couple of months I can run on all high (EG Fallout 3, COD4+MW2, all source games, Bioshock, (hell, on windows 7 even stalker with graphic mods)). But those exceptions can be crippling (especially because its my CPU) no assassins creed (at least being stable without BSOD) for more than 20 mins, no GTA 4. I need to upgrade my rig.
Anyway, some good storyline based games:
Max Payne 1+2 (1 has longer/better storyline, but more awkward controls)
Just about everything Jedi Knight related (except Academy)
Postal 1+2+expansion (if you're up for a racist laugh)
AvP 1+2 (you'll need a custom patch to make AVP2 multiplayer work)
Stalker
Soldier of Fortune (Ok not the best storyline, but the game is awesome)
Star Wars: KOTOR 1+2 (1 more-so)
Farcry
Most of the CODs, if not a little short.
Most of the Medal of Honors
Some of the Prince of Persia's (mainly 1+2( don't know about the cel shaded one) (without a gamepad, some of the controls can be awkward)
ALL of the GTA's except 4
Bioshock (and two when released)
(From what I've played, and if you're a geek) Star Trek: Elite force 1+2
Mechwarrior 4 (If not a little basic (need a joystick to unleash the FURY))
Any of the X-wing or TIE fighters except Alliance
Gun (A bit of a bad console port)
SWAT 4 (and expansion)
Sniper Elite
Brothers In Arms (all of them)
All of the Theifs (except maybe 3)
