I like the game a lot, after installing Windows 7, my account isn't available. I've already changed password and tried everything and it failed.

SAME THING happened to me yesterday.
I wanted to play Bf2 after not playing for a long time, and then it turns out my password is wrong even after resetting it.
It really is bullshit.

EA are alright. You're behind the times, it's activision you should be whining about now.
Making a new account is a possibility but I don't want to restart, my stats and weapons are gone. I want some of the weapons. I'm just butthurt for now.

Battlefield games have always had incredibly bad account services. I can't count the number of times I either couldn't connect or my account was mysteriously altered in some way.

I have 3 Battlefield games and I never play online in any of them because of the bad services. (e.g. Punkbuster)

Plus on top of that, they're not going to make enough money solely off sports games.
