• Do you play Minecraft primarily on Multiplayer or Singleplayer?

I do single player myself. I find it more adventurous.
Minecraft is waay more fun with friends!
I was mostly singleplayer, but then I found Ventlegille and the rest is history!
only single :sigh:
I play single, unless my real friends want to play together.
I play multi because I get bored in singleplayer because no one can see what I built.
Multiplayer
Depends on my mood. Multiplayer is fun but sometimes working cooperatively on projects can be frustrating with the wrong people.
The thing I hate about multiplayer is people do things that I would do different, or leave things unfinished. Like on Inacio's Server people would cut down giant trees but leave the top. So there would be floating leaves everywhere. Finally it annoyed me enough that I cut down the entire forest and cut down all the floating bits, then replanted the entire thing.
It's why you have FIRE! :pseudo:
Fire is disabled on that server.
MP. I rarely play SP
I stopped playing SP because I can't brag with my diamonds. But then I never stopped lagging on all servers, so I took a few months break from Minecraft, then I discovered brohoster, I never lag at Brohoster servers, so I only play SMP now.
sp mp is too laggy for me
Purely multiplayer ever since we got a server on minecraft.nl Things like the Factions mod spice up the 'relations' between players.
It's why you have FIRE! :pseudo:
Woudn't use that. I set a tree on fire once and or some reasons the sand wall i made(close to it) caught fire 2 so i burned down olmost every tree in sight. Or the first time i used the fire and burned down half of a city i build beceause the road contained wood.
SMP all day erry day :suicide:
SMP. I can't stand singleplayer games. I always buy games that have multiplayer too unless the story is worth the buy/rent alone.
SMP. But it doesn't let me connect on my computer so I only get to play on my brother's whenever he's gone.
I mostly play SMP with a friend of mine on my own, small server. If he's not on Minecraft when I want to play, I either play single player or (more likely) play on Inacio's server.
Multiplayer, i get bored of singleplayer quite easily
Mostly Singleplayer, but I have started to play with my friend.
I played Single player till I bought THE GAME.
I play single so I can build in peace.
I only play SP if I have awesome mods, I'll probably play it a shit ton when the Aether comes out. If SMP was able to have mods like Mo' Creatures of Jurassicraft, it would be the only thing I would play. Minegols any one?
i used to play singleplayer but grew bored of it so now im hosting a server for me and some friends
When first announced, I was excited for multiplayer, but after at least 2 years of Minecraft experience, I've found both to have their own unique takes on the game. Multiplayer contains the same core mechanics as singleplayer but here's my opinion: It is more "light-hearted" and simply overall less dramatic than singleplayer. That's not a bad thing, multiplayer makes the experience less-I guess dramatic isn't the right term-apprehensive by allowing you to have comrades. Its the difference from one man alone against the world, and a group of people taking over the world. Singleplayer also has you worry about resources, which I didn't have a problem with in multiplayer. This isn't a con, its just not as serious. The main difference is security. In singleplayer, I was afraid for my life every moment, even on peaceful, while in multiplayer, knowing your in a city defended by guards makes you feel safe. Thats about it. I used to play multiplayer a lot, but I lag extremely badly on my wi-fi connection.
Does anybody know if there are Bukkit plugins for name changing and invisibility? And not just nicknames, I want a mod that can let you change the name tag above your head.
I never got into multiplayer because it was so buggy, but since i've started owning a server it's all I do.
Single because I have a lot of projects I like to do. Also I get terrible lag on online.
