Multiplayer City Builders

Are there any Multiplayer city builders out there? I know about Cities XL but I don't want to have to pay a subscription fee to play that game. Thanks

Roblox, blockland.

You can build "Lego" cities in them. At least in Blockland, there was even some gamemode including currency and something like cops vs thieves.

Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but you can build cities in Minecraft.

Kingdom for Keflings [I]sort of[/I] fits this bill. It's an X-Box Arcade title.

You might prefer something like the Anno series though, or Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe (OTTD or TTD for short). TTD sometimes gets threads here on FP.

I whole heartedly agree with ottd. It's a great addicting game, with a decent online community, and with the recent update, you don't require the original game to play it.
