Excellent game. GOTY. RPG/FPS. JC Denton. Philosophical. Pacifistic/Psychotic. Great Endings. Marvelous Story.
If you haven't played this yet, then I strongly suggest you do. Now.
I played Invisible War on the xbox, does that count?
No, Invisible War cannot even compare to Deus Ex 1.
I am not a machi-
But on a serious note, I fucking loved Deus Ex. One of the best damn games of all time.

This man speaks the truth.
Deus Ex ftw. :buddy:
Flatlander woman
Sticks and stones.
A bomb
I hope this will not fail. If it is anything like Deus Ex 1, we have another GOTY.

More like game of the decade.
"I wanted orange, it gave me lemon lime. :tinfoil:"
Awesome reference if you've played it. Seriously now, if you haven't played Deus Ex you should now.

Eh, well I thought it was pretty cool. So Deus Ex 1 must be a lot better then?
I've played Deus Ex once and I'm currently playing through it again.
I think it's a decent game, not really on top of my list.
Kinda ironic. I just started playing Deus Ex for the first time this week. ALthough i keep getting my ass kicked at the first level.
ycs bitch
"Oh my god, JC! That was Agent Navarre!"
Agent Navarre ran into the LAM I left inside the plane's entrance. I lol'd.
I had this on PS2.
I remember the Tantalus device cheat.
You look at something. activate the cheat and it dies violently.
Rats literally flew after using it.
the first part of the game made me not play the rest
This game is my most favorite game ever. It's Probably because you can go through the entire game without killing anyone at all, and this really appeals to me as a Christian.
It is pretty sad that 10 years later nobody has yet to make a game as good as Deus Ex.
TWO HUGE CHRISTIAN THUMBS UP!
Also, I'm replaying it now and just got to Paris my favorite part of the game. Deus Ex OWNS
That has to be a troll.

We here at facepunch don't care for religion.
Whoa-oh excuse me for having faith. Guess I'll never post again ever!
non-lethal weapons in Deus ex are the best. Whenever I play through I just use tranq darts, the baton, and pepper spray.
The gas grenades are life savers, too.
Pacifism is the best

I prefer the GEP gun.
Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out.

This game is my most favorite game ever. It's Probably because you can go through the entire game earning huge amounts of money, and this really appeals to me as a Jew.

I'll just use this as an oppurtunity to advertise The Nameless Mod for Deus Ex.

How unsophisticated of you. Cutting their faces off with the knife is where it's at and using the assault rifle and stealth pistol take out the people who are annoying and run away.

Yes, the GEP gun is always the best choice out of the three even if you are going pacifist.
I think the earliest it appears is when you go after Lebedev in the 747 (it's in one of the exterior guard towers in a crate).
Don't know about y'all but I'm excited for Deus Ex 3 lets hope it doesn't disappoint
