A SCARY-ASS Mod? - Games - Facepunch Forum

Does anyone know of any mods that are truly scary? I don't mean face textures popping up on your screen and a scream, I mean the horror is in the map, so something pops out of a wall or something, I don't care how corny it is, just nothing taking up the whole screen? (Maps for other mods work, as well, so if you know of a scary custom HL2 map, let me know!)

As said, if you have HL1 Afraid of monsters is scary scared the shit out of me.

It's not a mod and it's not free, but Penumbra: Black Plague on steam is quite frightening.
