I'm heavily considering buying a PS4 next gen instead of the next Xbox, so I'm excited to see this.

Did I miss Microsoft unveiling their thing or were they talking bullshit when they said they gonna wait for them?

I predict this will be able to play PS1 and PS2 games through software emulation, but PS3 games are not gonna work. It'll probably also be backwards compatible with PS3 controllers, and used games can be played with no problems. The design will feature a user replaceable harddrive and they will get rid of the old AV port and just have HDMI.

I really hope the stuff about locking games to one console turns out to be false. Because the sad thing is, if it it's true, people will buy it anyway and Sony and Microsoft won't learn how bad an idea it is.

I hope that Sony have learned their mistakes from PS3, because if they can make a better console with better support (and security too) than Xbox and with a bigger library than 360's I'd take it any day.
