Disabling AMX Mod X?

I've been googling for hours to try and find out how to disable AMX Mod X but with no avail.Can anyone enlighten me on how to do this? I've tried enterting "amx_off" into the console but I think this is related to changing a config.ini file or something.

Because I just want to disable it for a short amount of time. Right now, I have Gun Game loaded into it and everytime I start CS 1.6 it starts with gun game. Also, it prevents me from adding ZBOTS.

Also, where's autoexec.cfg? I can't find it..

HL1 doesn't use /cfg/.
make a file called autoexec.cfg in your steamapps/username/counter-strike/cstrke/ folder and open it with notepad. put amx_off in there, save it, done.
