I've played it all the way to 40 on Assault and Medic classes, didn't much try robotics, or recon.

The gameplay kinda gets same-y though once you get to the PvP portions of the game, and it turned into a boring grind for me.

Also hats in a shooter.

What. It was like $20-30 last time I checked, I'm pretty sure it isn't free, there's just no subscription costs. Unless something has changed lately.

No, it's just like any other game, you buy it once and then you play it.

theres an unlimited time trial, but it only lets you get to level 12. which is a kinda low level. and you cannot unlock a bucketload of gamemodes and stuff because of the trial level cap.
