Is there any reason why it doesn't save like I left it? Like, I spawn 10 marines, a base, a few depots and such as that, save it, open it and in-game is goes back to being just a base + a few SCVs. Same with Zerg and Protoss. The second question: Is there any fucking way to zoom out? When I spawn large bases it gets rather annoying having to scroll all over hell and half of Georgia to find what I need.
you must check - use map settings when starting the game. and zooming - nope use the minimap for moving around
It needs a certain game mode if you're playing it exact to the map, I can't remember what it's called though.
Ah okay, thanks for the answers. And, is the 'use map settings when starting the game' in the campaing editor or the game?
when using the map IN THE GAME also try Xtra (its a revamped editor for SC)

But you also need to enable it as a UMS map when you save it. UMS (Use Map Settings) means that any scripts or assets placed on the map will work as they have been set up to. Anything other than UMS is essentially a basic game, and when started as such (Melee, Free for All), you'll simply have your starter buildings and a few workers set up at each Starting Point.
