[B]What do you do?
[/B]Basically, You make a new world and give it the seed 404.
Then You Travel to find this massive gravel spot in Cordinates -25, 65, 15 (Use F3 to figure out where you are)
Dig the gravel and the challenge begins!
[B]Rules[/B]
[B]1[/B]. You have until night fall to gather supplies. Spend your time wisely! Once night hits you [B]MUST[/B] venture into the hole, never to return to the surface again!
[B]2[/B]. You can gather any resource you find top side, but venturing into any other caves (for iron mostly) is not allowed. Sunlit caves are allowed.
[B]3[/B]. You must not break ground on the 404 gravel until you are ready to enter the cave. You are intended to be finding shelter for the first night, digging the gravel, and discovering the cave. Once you break ground on the gravel, you must enter the cave.
[B]4[/B]. Once you enter the cave, you must descend all the way to the bottom! The waterfall has swept you into the deepest parts of the cave.
[B]5[/B]. [U][B][B]No torches![/B][/B][/U] You were drenched by the waterfall during the collapse, rendering your wood useless for torches. Real men use lava for light anyway! (Redstone torches and jack-o-lanterns are OK!)
[B]6[/B]. Survive and thrive. Don't simply build a wall around yourself. Explore, build, progress! Your 'score' will be based on what you accomplished, not simply how long you survived.
[B]7[/B]. Only mine ores that are is visible. If you see an ore, you can mine it and the blocks around it to see if you got all of it. No branch/strip mining allowed. You are spelunking/surviving here, not at your 9 to 5 mining job.
[B]8[/B]. Difficulty must be either Normal or Hard. Hard is for the bad asses, Normal is for the wannabe bad asses.
[B]9[/B]. 1 life. If you die the challenge is over. Start a new 404 world if you want to try again.
[B]10[/B]. No inventory edits or 'cheating' of any kind. Using F3 to see mob locations is considered cheating as well.

What is the best method to capture video in minecraft anyway? Never bothered before, but this peaked my interest.
It also means I can't spend 2+ days gathering a stack of 64 for each basic supply before starting a crafting binge :saddowns:

Camstudio, Wegame (or something like that, may only work in DirectX apps though).

XFire recorder sucks more shit than the FRAPs one. Plus XFire is awful anyway.
