Is it possible to use the Steam game browser without being in game? like internet explorer, only Steam. I find it more simplistic to use for full screen (i.e. no tool bars, etc.)
F11
uh no
Just untick some boxes in IE to get rid of the toolbars.
He's still using Internet Explorer!

Get Google Chrome if you like minimalism.
Google Chrome is quite exquisite indeed. It also has extensions now, for those of you who haven't been paying attention.
I did like Chrome, I use Firefox cause the addons. Opera I hate cause it's lack of Addons and it has nothing Firefox doesn't. So if Chrome has addons now, maybe Ive found a new browser.
I use IE but I'm switching over to chrome in a few days because it's spoiled me. Just got to port over my favorites.

Take_opal's too stupid to know the difference, he's a gold mem- WAIT A SECOND
Note how they're both using Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer and this question pretty much sum up your time as an internet'er
Why not just use internet explorer?
i have internet explorer, safari, chrome, and firefox. i just want to know if theres any possible way to get the steam browser. so if anyone has a download link, a way to do it myself, or any other type of actual help, please post it. otherwise, that weird picture is kinda annoying as internet explorer was an example, not what i use. i already switched to chrome when it first came out.
Why not just use internet explorer?
Because there is Firefox!

Steam browser is even worse than IE.
Go away Take_Opal nobody cares for what you have to say
I have no idea who you are. But 7-12 agrees seem to not agree with you.
Steam browser is even worse than IE.
Steam browser is IE.
That is the truth.
Opera also has userscript support, both a greasemonkey compatibility layer and it's own API. But the point is that yes, Opera does not have a simple addons system similar to the one Firefox has.

You got cool widgets like cylindrical tetris and other awesome shit, but nothing like"Watch megavideo without time limit"
But firefox has a burning fox.
If Chrome had as many addons as Firefox. I'd switch. Cause Chrome is a better browser, it just lacks a development community.
I just run all my games in a window so i can click out of the window to go into chrome
