Got myself a 3-month Gold and 800 MS point card. Those MS points are proving difficult to spend, because there is just so much damn awesome stuff on XBLA.
I was thinking Symphony of the Night. Any other suggestions? And BF1943 is probably not a buy, since I'm getting BC2 (for PC).
Have you got Borderlands? You could get one of the DLCs.
Nope, don't have Borderlands. Was considering it, but I'm on a college budget, and already have Starcraft II, BC2, and FFXIII down for purchase.
And my father watches my debit account like a damn hawk.

I bought SOTN three years ago and I find it worth it because it's long enough, has great music and -alot- of exploration and some quite interesting bosses. Otherwise I guess you could try South Park Let's go play tower Defense.
Splosion Man is really great. Symphony of the Night is a good purchase if you like Metroidvania type games. And I also suggest looking into Ikaruga. It's a really good 'shmup.
Get nothing.
Save them for a rainy day.
