A group of guys 2 years ago decided to start a Marathon where they would play through all the Mario Games (25 years of it), with your donations funding how many levels they do.
Each level costs 1% more than the last level did. The next level currently costs $428.06 and they have raised $48,916 and have been playing for 76 hours (Over 3 days).
Their cause has been featured on the front-page of the Penny-Arcade website and deserves your attention. Feel free to just watch, share the Marathon with your friends, show people, and help out however you can.
They need $158,000 to fully complete every Mario Game that exists. They are currently at $48,916 so donate, donate, donate!!!

Every little bit helps as long as it's over $1. Anything under $1 gets eaten up by a small PayPal fee.
Update: They are almost at $63,000 and have been playing for over 85 hours. They are currently about to 100% Super Mario 64, and have to 100% Super Mario Galaxy 2. Super Mario Sunshine Blue Coins will be the final game and levels of it are still being unlocked.

They are switching off. They just completed Super Mario 64 120 stars and are almost at $64,000.
