FUCK. PIRATES. I remember playing the first betas of PVK 2 and almost every fucking match devolved into a ton of pirates rushing the other team and suicide bombing with those fucking kegs.

Oh god I remember the early release pirates too, there was that map with a tower in the middle, pirates would just throw a keg in there and everyone in the tower would die.
I think they disabled being able to blow up the kegs by hitting them now, thank god, fuckers would just throw it at us when we charged.

PvK sucks, it takes the most bugged part of online games and uses it as it's primary weapon (MELEE WEAPONS DON'T WORK WITH [B]ANY [/B]LAG)

Bunker hill was fun, I was there, I also fought at the alamo.

I never played the older versions, but the Pirates in the current one seem a little... well, I don't want to say they're [I]underpowered[/I], but they don't strike me as being very good at killing stuff.
The main problem is simply that it takes so fuckin' long to kill anything. Guns give them better range, but they do fuckall damage and the melee weapons aren't much better.
I love the parrots, though.
I fucking hate parrots and I fucking hate you if you use them.
Every time I go against a Captain, he does no damage, he just gets his parrot to kill me.
The first PVK was a lot more fun than the source version.
