Now you've been introduced with a pretty banner and all, lets get to the gist of it all:
[U][B]The idea[/B][/U]
Like last time, we play on a map with several sub-areas that allows us to cycle between the various areas, based on player amount and player preferences. A primary gamemaster is assigned to the game
and then the game can begin. Like in the book / movies, players are placed onto the map and are left to fend for their life to remain as the last man standing, effectively winning the round. People are
free to do whatever they like once the round has begun and are exempt from (almost) all rules. You meet people, befriend people, stab them in the back or whatever dirty tactic you decide to make use of,
there is nothing stopping you. The GM is the ultimate power here though and his job is to make sure people actually actively seek out each other and fight. The GM is also the one with the last word, so you
better listen to what he has to say or you might find yourself walking into a trap on your next scavenging run.

[U][B]The current plan[/B][/U]
So based on the experience from last time, I will be the one hosting the server this time around. I have a decent server placed in a datacenter in Denmark and will be using this for hosting.
We'll make use of the following plugins:
[I]AutoSneak[/I], first and foremost because it is necessary for a game such as this to remove player's nametags. We'll have to deal with the whole everyone 'sneaking' animation though.
[I]Worldborder[/I], to make sure people don't leave the designated area.
[I]Dynmap[/I] to allow the GM to get a proper view over the battlefield and make it easier for him to track individual players progress.
[I]AntiCheat and OreObfuscator[/I], to fix various glitches and discourage people from cheating easily.
[I]HeroChat[/I], to allow custom channels to be created. Both for ingame chat, gm chat, observer chat etc...
[I]QHungerGames[/I], my plugin that takes care of all the other features that we require. Currently this includes ghosting dead people, starting rounds, placing players automatically, sponsor feature and more.
The map we're going to use will be the same as the one last time, albeit updated, [URL="http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/eldaria-island---custom-terrain-mc-10---end-portal/"]Eldaria Island[/URL].
It's a very decent custom map, containing several areas that are almost tailor made for this kind of gameplay. It worked very well last time atleast.
[U][B]The Future Plan[/B][/U]
So while everything currently works properly, there are ofcourse future plans. I've got this great idea about making a clientside plugin for the admins which will allow me to show alot of relevant
information to them, right ingame. It also allows me to make it alot easier for them, with special menus doing all sorts of stuff automatically so they don't have to remember all those horrible
commands.
Another thing I'd like to do is to improve my plugin. As it currently stands, it works, but just barely. It has the bare minimums, but I'd like to extend some of the features of it, such as
improving the sponsoring feature and add more stuff for the dead to do. Eventually make more than one round possible at a time.

So now that you've heard what this is and what it will eventually be, you're probably interested in joining and playing a game with the rest of us.
We regularly schedule games. I'd like to start this out with a game today, [B]the 22th of February at 10pm GMT+1[/B]. The server will be available at the IP 80.198.53.223:25575 tomorrow by that time.
It shouln't be whitelisted, so don't worry about that.

If you mean tonight, it'll go on aslong as there's interest for it. There's currently 2 GMs coming tonight, one is US time and me who is EU time. The other guy is very interested in running it as long as he can, so aslong as there's people to play, we'll keep doing rounds.

It's not and I wonder why it would. The server's in a datacenter in denmark with 100/100 connection, so it shouldn't be that. If anything, it might be because you're in the states and the server is in Denmark?
