This has been exploding recently. I've seen 5~ Let's Players start doing a series on this game in the course of a few days or so. It looks like a pretty good buy all the same.

I have been glued to this game for hours, and I love it. Only problem is I can't seem to get any more ships (I have the Kestrel, Taurus, and whatever the fuck the Zoltan one is) and I can't get past the Flagship's first stage. It'd help if I had more ships to throw around with strategy.

I've been playing this game all day. It's pretty damn fun!

It only gets harder once you get to the Flagship's drone spam stage. I literally can't do anything for how many attacks are being made against my ship and how little time you get to repair and rearm if you want to get to it before it reaches the fleet.

I'm going to be playing this for the rest of the weekend now. I didn't think it'd be this fun to play.

I can never get enough scrap to upgrade everything I want and still have enough to repair stuff. Got to sector 5 once so far. [editline]16th September 2012[/editline] Also lucky hits on your O2 room are the worst.

I don't like the Engi ship. I usually end up dying before I can buy an actual weapon + upgrade, usually to some ship with three shields. Or mantises. I hate space mantises.

Am I the only one who feels like a hero when I manage to save my ship from a widespread fire and also keep the crew alive through it

I've brought my ship back from the brink of absolute disaster. Hull Leak, No oxygen system, Fires blocking paths and intruders. God Damn

God Damn[/QUOTE] Try the same thing, but I stupidly opened the airlocks to try and choke the intruders and then they destroyed my door system. Pretty sure my ship had like 10% Oxygen left when I saved it. Almost the entire crew died.

I've done my best as an Engi ship so far, got to the flagship but i just didnt have enough to get past the first stage, ran away and got rocked by a missile. Score was around 2300, not bad for my second playthrough.

I wish we could customize the layout of our ship ourselves Just a side note. I entered the 5th sector, the Engi one... those guys are tops. They gave me 25 scrap and a third weapon for free

Bought this today. Never been a fan of Roguelikes but this is great. Loads of fun.

What does the broken stasis pod do? I found one and the description said it was useless but "someone might be able to repair it" or something.

1 Fuel left entering an unknown location. Manage to find someone buying drone parts so I sell the 3 I have for 12 scrap. I now have 13 scrap and the fuel to make one more jump, which happens to be a store. I may make 2 or 3 more jumps yet!

that feel when fires are everywhere and your remote door systems are destroyed and covered in fire.
