I got Empire Total War during it's deal last weekend. I installed it and was able to play 1 battle and then everything after that the loading screen would hang. I tried lowering the settings and made sure everything was updated. I reinstalled the game and that did not do anything.
Also, I do not have any of the DLC for this game. Is this a common bug for people with this game?

had a similar problem, just let it sit there for about 15 minutes

Same with me. With the Demo, it'd just stall after they said Sega (saying it over and over). If I left it for a while, it'd start playing again.
