• Steam Games as Non-Steam Shortcuts

I got the retail version of Wolfenstein last Christmas, and I noticed it's available on steam. Is there a way I can make it work like I bought it off steam instead of having it just be a shortcut? That way I'd get more support for it like having it track how long I play.
Who cares about tracking how long you play? Really there's no point to it. oh and nope you can't do that.
The only thing I hate about buying retail games and making them non steam games is having people messaging me saying shit like "PIRATE!" Seriously, it's annoying.
Snip

I usualy only get messaged by real friends, members of the dev team or those spam scammers who just spam a link and don't want to make my life a bit more fun.
my own friends do it though
I wish steam would let you at least fill in the missing details/make banners for non-steam games. It's annoying having all those banner-less blocks in the banner view.
Well you could try locating the .exe file and shortcut that if that works.. Works for Audiosurf, HL2 last time I tried
The fuck are you talking about? Besides, those games already have steam integration.

They put all that time into making steam asthetically pleasing, and it's really stupid looking to have a big blank spot in your list of games.
