Dear almighty Notch,
I love minecraft as much as the next guy, maybe even a little more, but doesn't it seem like the worlds of minecraft have an "empty" feeling to them? This is precicely why you should really "set in stone" plans to make NPC goblin villages that spawn randomly across the map.
BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING:
I know Notch has mentioned doing this before, I just belive that the world of minecraft would totally benefit from having little interactive villages actually set in stone, aka planned to be released in a future update.

I mean an official minecraft update containing npc villages, not this old mod. I tried this, got some viruses and bad popups when i had a virus free computer, never going to try that mod again unless I get direct help.
Besides, minecraft really needs to fill its world on its own, thats why I highly reccomend npc villages to notch.

There's this thing called a scroll wheel. Use it right, any you may just find a download link at the bottom of the thread smoothkriminal linked to you.

I think the "empty" feeling is wanted. I've heard good things about the mod though.
NPC's kinda change the game.
NPC villages should be added, but there should be a option to spawn worlds lacking them aswell.
I would love sliders to edit world parameteres upon creating the world.
I find it cute that the OP thought his idea so revolutionary that it deserved a thread.
I also find it cute that he is unable to find download links, and has no understanding of "viruses" and "pop-ups".
