Development has been ongoing since March 2006. Like many online games, operation of Dragonica is relegated to different publishers for their respective regions. It is a free-to-play game with a Cash Shop. The game has been in Open Beta across Europe since June 10th 2009, has implemented the Kundara Content Update during August 2009 and has announced that the "Tales of the Damned" expansion will be introduced during October 2009. The North American Open Beta Test began on August 18th, 2009. Characters created during the Open Beta Test will carry over to the commercial release.[/release] [Release]-Features-
2D3D Landscape - Characters and enemies move on a 2D plane, however the graphics are rendered in an artistic 3D style you haven't seen elsewhere.

Arcade Style Combat - The key feature in Dragonica is its unique and original style of combat. The game plays like an arcade fighter, bringing player skill into the mix with RPG elements.
Combo System
Combat in Dragonica is built on an addictive combo-system where each hit registers as 1 combo. The more hits you get consecutively without interruption, the higher your combo count, and the higher the EXP bonus you receive!

Saving (Recovery) rolls

Even if you find yourself downed by enemies, the fight is not over! Now, gamers can perform recovery roles by pressing “C” (jump) + directional key the moment they are thrown to the ground by an attack. A timely save can allow you to roll out of harm’s way, thus avoiding as much damage as possible.

No Mouse!

Dragonica is a fast-paced game played fully on the keyboard. If you like, you can map your keys onto a USB gamepad for console-style fun! I'm relatively new. Thanks for reading.
Played this, it's worse than Maplestory (IMO). Seems just like any other boring korean MMO.
and everyone hates you unless you're one of the 2 preferred classes.
Well, sorry you guys don't like it. I found that people are generally nice, and accept you no matter the class if you play properly.
Well, sorry you guys don't like it. I found that people are generally nice, and accept you no matter the class if you play properly.
I think the game is alright but I didn't really like the community, Can't remember which version I played either.
Mmmm... perhaps give it a go once more? I haven't played with too many people, however the three people I've partied with have been fine.
I really like this myself... The progression is a lot more than "click this enemy repeatedly to kill it and then do more of them." I actually was getting excited as I gained new skills to beat people up with, and I'm pretty sure I yelled out loud when I leveled up the third time.
Glad you like it. I've made one of each character now, I really like each one. What's your IG name?
are you indian or speak hindi or something by any chance op
I played this game a decent bit right when it went into OB. Got to level 42 and got the second job change, and then I stopped playing. It's really good MMO compared to the other free ones out there. The only bad thing is that late game, there's a bunch of class discrimination. People literally fight for seconds in the battle maps or w/e. If you're a Knight, you might want to have a group of friends to play with so you can get past levels 30-40, since nearly nobody will accept you. The ironic thing is that Knights start being one of the most wanted classes after their second job change.
Played it for a few weeks. Got to level 32 or something but then it got so incredibly boring. Leveling takes fucking ages, you have to go through the same dungeon thingy like 20 times to level up once.
are you indian or speak hindi or something by any chance op
Nope. White English speaking person. I actually got Namaste from Lost. However, if you play with friends its generally not that bad. [editline]01:37PM[/editline]
Played it for a few weeks. I haven't grinded once yet.
This game is pretty addiciting the first 5 hours you play it, and then it gets boring.
I got into the closed beta as I knew someone on the dev team, and I really liked it during the closed beta. Then the game went live.. it went down to shit after that tbh. As others have said above, the community is a load of shit.
