Me and my friend have been playing Warcraft 3 a lot over lan lately.
I was wondering if we were to have him purchase The Frozen Throne, but continue using my Reign of Chaos CD key, would we be able to play online together?
Asking because it saves us 20 dollars.

Should be fine. All that matters is the Frozen Throne cd key when using Frozen Throne.

he means both of them use the same RoC key but different TFT ones
