if its the first time that this happened, they shouldn't give too much trouble giving it back. go through the really deep process that makes you show ID and everything and i'm sure they'd give it back if it's your first problem with them.

I think the OP means he bought gold and Blizzard isn't believing his BS story about hackers.

Happened to me too, but i got mine back, stop making up fake stories and they will believe you.

Can all the people who don't play WoW please leave this thread? This is a serious matter.

this happened to me about 2 weeks ago, butthey put an authenticator on my account. i just emailed blizzard waited a few days, confirmed some stuff and got it back. Then all my stuff was gone , submitted a ticket and waited a week, presto! all back to normal.

All you have to do is e-mail or call Blizzard and talk to them about it. Also, I thought it was Chinese that stole accounts, not the Koreans. After all, Koreans have their Korean MMOs.

I sold my account, they got it banned, i managed to recover it using only my contact info and original serial number. It got perma banned again a few months later (1 year aniversary on the 21st ;)) I just made a new account after that and kept myself honest :)

Makes me laugh how the people who hate WoW like to lurk around the WoW section. If this has only happened once, blizz will give you your account back. My mate was hacked and got banned. He emailed and phoned up explained his case, blizz looked into it and unbanned him. The main thing is, don't be an arse to blizzard. If you're moaning that they haven't got back to you yet, then just wait. Give it a week or two, and contact them again. Seriously, if you're an arse to them they won't do fuck for you. If your working in a store, and a twat of a customer came in, demanding this and that. Swearing at you for not doing your job properly. Are you really going to take it? I know I wouldn't.

A guy on my realm got banned for having 100.000+ gold on his account, they thought he was a gold seller or something, but he got his account unbanned cause he earned it all on the same account by just farming and he never sold any gold from it..so far.

If you type properly and explain in clear statements they might not reject you because they're tired of 13 year old kids crying a wall of text to them using every swear word they can possibly dig up.

I canceled my account last September, and I got an e-mail in January that my account was perma'd for breaking all these rules... I guess my account was hacked while I wasn't playing because an authenticator was put on it when I tried to log-in. It's been almost a month and Blizzard is still ignoring my email so I sent another one.
