Well I know hl2dm doesn't work with mods such as old hl2 engine mods. My question is why, why is it that mods cannot work with the materials HL2DM provides?I remember reading it somewhere but I can't find it and google proves no help.
Do you have the Source SDK Base? In other words, did you use the free promotion to get HL2DM
It's not just the materials, it's the code and AI.
If you bought HL2:DM, you got the Source SDK base with it, which comes with all the HL2 code.
I have the orange box and I'm fine,but the question is why cant other people who did get it via the offer not play mods?
The offer doesn't include Source SDK Base which is what mods run on.

i get steam ID banned from so many games i have a dozen of accounts with nothing but hl2dm on them and i can run any mod imaginable.

anyhow the mods listed above are bland in every sense of the word. they are more like punches to the face of those capable of producing a single player game that's good
