I might be a bit late, but what the hell:
[quote]Saints Row 3 and Red Faction 4 will be shown at the E3 expo in June, THQ have revealed. Along with that, we'll be seeing more of Homefront: the FPS which was revealed at last years event.
"I think we're going to blow people away at E3." said THQ CEO Brian Farrell in an interview with IGN. "You'll be seeing Saints Row 3. You'll be seeing the next Red Faction." he then added.
You can expect Saints Row 3 to be a big competitor for the Grand Theft Auto series. But we expect that after Guerrilla, the Red Faction series will return to the first person perspective.
Earlier in the month, we revealed fifteen of our E3 Expectations, and both Red Faction 4 and Saints Row 3 were on the list. This years getting better and better.

I cannot wait to see what they have for store with Saints Row, as well as Red Faction (finally going back to the first person state).
Hell. Yes.
Saints Row 2 is an awesome game, I hope they try on the computer version this time around.
I will buy it only if they give effort on the PC version

I thought the PC version was alright, but definatly not their best. The audio sounded like it was from the early 90s and the button mashing sucked. Other than that, most of it was alright.
Though I do think it was really ment for the console.
Woo.
Hope they optimize it more for PC though...
I've lost faith in Violition after their horrible PC ports for RFG and Saints Row 2. They wouldn't even implement simple features like text chat into the PC port for RFG and it was clear that they didn't give half a damn about it.
Let's hope there's a PC version that isn't a piece of shit.

What? You need a NASA supercomputer to play the game on anything but low.

You serious? I play it on high all the time, but it has framerate problems at times. Nontheless, it runs fine most of the time.

Really? I play with all the settings on as high as they get and my FPS doesn't drop at all during gameplay.
:D
Hell yeah.
Nice to see Red Faction is returning to its first-person roots,
and Saints Row 3 should be interesting, as I played Saints Row 2 on a console and don't have any post-traumatic accidents from playing the PC version which I keep hearing so much about.
I thought Saints Row 2 sucked tbh.
I loved Saints row 2.
Did Mearo have the same voiceactor as Marcus from Fallout 2?
Saints Row 2 was fun and funny as fuck
Red Faction was a let down really :/

Yes.

Also, it's, "Maero" I do believe.
Sweeeeeeet, these both sound so good. I hope they bring back terrain deformation into the Red Faction series like they had in RF1 and RF2. I missed it in RF:G but the building destruction was phenomenal.
The developers didn't say RF4 was going back to FPS, the author of the article was making speculation.
Cool, I had tons of fun in SR2.
I hope they make a better port this time.

Saints Row 2 is bullshit. It's a covered up GTA: San Andreas. It even has the same damn story.
Saint's Row 2 was fun but it ran horribly on my computer, hopefully they'll optimize it better this time.

Yeah, but they have two completely different gameplay goals. (As in what they want the gameplay to run, not the actual goals you get in gameplay)
Looking forward to this.

As long as it has pretty graphics, and doesn't force me into using a controller. :argh:

Yea, I thought Saints Row 2 was a good competitor for GTA IV besides the graphics. I respect GTA, but I still think Saints Row is better in my modest opinion.

GTA has the storyline and the shiny graphics/physics.
Saints Row has the overall epic feeling that you just don't find very often in GTA.
You can say GTA is a rolls royce rolling out from the factory, and Saints Row is a Landrover driving through bolivia (TopGear reference), and in the end I'd rather have the fun of the land rover, than the style of the rolls royce.

I thought the game itself was really good. What didn't you like about it?
The controls and a few other nitpicky things.

The game just felt clunky to me.
