AFF: Planetside is a total conversion for UT3. They'be done a real good job on it, all the vehicles have all kinds of cool animations and attention to detail is pretty cool.
The mod has two frontlines: One on the ground, where you fight to capture points and blow stuff up.
The other town of fuck shit up is in space. It's kind-of like that onslaught map from UT2004.
That's right, you spawn on your own ship, nab a fighter, breach enemy ship and do as much damage as you can.
It is a quality mod, sadly it suffers much from lack of players.

This one's an Unreal mod while the other one is some sort of space strategy game.
You know, I hope someday these guys make an Offical Game out of this universe, I mean, look at it: Everything is set ready, units, ships, events, background history, technology, weapons, the list goes on. Basically, everything you need for a game.
And what a game it would be.
They are making it a game, its coming out commercially soon.
Sounds a lot like that source mod "Eternal Silence" to me, but done better.

I think you will all agree that that is completely and totally badass... The mod for Homeworld itself not too bad, the ship models are really nice
