I've seen so many threads about "oh hey i want a good free mmo for me wut iz it"
that i'm kinda ranting about it now.
Point is.
There are almost no good free MMO's out there, and half of them have either been shut down or have a very small fanbase.
If you want quality, you're going to have to pay for it.
If you want something free, get over cash stores and/or endless grinding.
Don't want to bring up endless examples now, so im leaving this as it is. Agree, disagree, crush my opinion.
Runes of Magic.
Also, pointless thread.
DDO, Allods, Runes of Magic, LOTRO (When it's free, maybe it'll retain it's greatness)
Of course no free MMO is going to have as much quality as a free one, doesn't mean they're bad.

Not pointless, it will spawn a search for good, free MMOs.
Then everyone profits by having a good timesink.

What.
OT: As others have said, Runes of Magic is pretty fun. However, the level 50's who have nothing better to do tend to become a pain in your ass.
there are none, and runes of magic is one of the worst shit games ive ever played, looks like its made for 3y.olds

Trust me, the cash shop is fucking annoying. you can actually buy little books that increase your stats permanently.
If we're not talking totally free, just MMO's that require a one-time payment to buy the CD (i.e. non-subscription games), Guild Wars is great. But at this point you might just be better off waiting for Guild Wars 2, coming out first quarter of next year...
