Uh, well if you enjoyed it i guess you should get it. There is no account activation free, you buy the game and input the CD-key. That will activate it and give you 30 days for free.
If you like it go for it, if not don't bother. I played it and got 2 lvl 80's. I stopped playing a year or so ago, lost interest and didn't enjoy it as much.
There is a WoW forum you know..

It only eats all your time if you can't control yourself. And it isn't that expensive if you have at least some form of job or income.

Okay then my opinion will prolly matter then.
I played since day 1. Yes, I purchased and played the very day of retail release. And I have played since. OP I say you shouldn't buy it, not yet. Wait till cataclysm is out, as current wow will make you hate it.
