Mine would have to be the ending of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It was executed beautifully. Modern Warfare 2's ending came close, but didn't top it. Yours? Edit: Nerdrage dumb ratings.

HL2: Ep2 :gonk:
Borderlands. It was just so climatic. :downs: But really, probably this;
For me the best ending will always be the one from Mafia:
Mass Effect 2.

Prince of Persia - Two Thrones
GTA IV. I don't know if it was scripted, or what, but chasing Dimitri down with the thunderstorm going on, and my Epic orchestral score blaring from my on-foot-radio mod... shit was epic.
The Simpsons Game. DDR with God? Yes please? "here I am, Rock you like a hurricane!"
Dragon age origins wasn't too bad
Fallout 2. After knocking out the president of the Enclave with a thrown spear to the head, I stole his Presidential Key, started a self-destruct sequence, fought down a 999 hitpoint monster and sailed away with a good view of the oil rig going up in mushroom cloud. After that, I got to see the results of all my actions and the eventual fate of settlements and individuals, good or bad. That isn't the best part though: instead of getting kicked back to the main menu, I got to tear around California righting wrongs and giving bandits power-kicks to the groin without having to pay another penny. :smug:
Kotor 2, Just flying off into space with Malacor 5 blowing up, peaceful. Halflife 1 was the 2nd best since you had a choice and all, and last Halo 1 was nice too.
Halo had the best ending, especially on legendary. Your only option at the last part is to ditch the hog and sprint like a fucking loon, shooting everywhere and praying. Also: Batman arkham asylum. Roll on sequal.
HL2: Ep2 :gonk:
I remember how upset I was when it turned to a drastic point. My smile when I heard he was proud of me, and how I went "What the fuck is going on :gonk:" when they grapped him. Still waiting patiently for ep3. It's like an exciting book, you can't let it go once you've really gotten into it.
Mass Effect 2.
this, this, a thousand times this. Mass Effect the First comes in a close second.
I just finished Assassin's Creed 2 and I gotta say, it was one of the best executed cliffhangers I've seen in a while.
Halo: Combat Evolved. The epic timed ride on the Warthog, Flood fucking EVERYWHERE, giant-ass jumps, and finally escaping on a fighter from a massive ringworld being blown to goddamn bits, the only two survivors (supposedly) out of hundreds on the Autumn. "No. I think we're just getting started." Epic. Seeing as Halo was my first PC game post-N64 (weird, I know), I was hooked.
Braid was the biggest mindfuck ending ever.
Call of Juarez 2. Beats even Mass Effect 1. I haven't beat 2 yet, though, so...
The ending of Mgs 3 was awesome
MGS Well all of them.
Ending of Stalker SOC. Nothing like [sp]Gunning down the C-Consciousness with an ak-74[/sp]
I thought the end of Max Payne 2 was really well done. Especially how it tied in with the beginning. Also Metal Gear Solid 4
MGS3. Probably the best Metal Gear Solid game anyways.
Mass Effect 2.
Braid was amazing. Recently, it was Dante's Inferno. The character development through the game was incredible, and the ending was unbelievably satisfying. [sp]Can't wait for the sequel.[/sp]
Final Fantasy X
Despite being a mediocre game, the Legendary Halo 3 ending was not too bad.
KOTOR: The Sith Lords had an awesome ending that wrapped up the first KOTOR.
Bioshock 2, best CGI I have ever seen.
