Each time I attempt to finish the 6th mission on the Soviet campaign, the game will crash at a random point. I've also tried it without 'back buffer memory' enabled, but the problem still persists. I'm also unable to apply the 3.03 TFD patch since it displays 'unable to find registry entries', despite reinstalling TFD twice.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. :)

Nice avatar.
i cant elp either, anyone else can elp out?
Wow, I haven't played Red Alert since like '97. Been so long. Sorry, I can't elp.
I can't even install it, even though I put it in windows 95 mode. Sorry, wish I could elp.
Sorry OP, but I don't think anyone can elp you out. You'd be best asking for elp on a different forum.
Maybe you could elp yourself, Here's an actual suggestion:
Red Alert 1 is now freeware officially by EA Games / EALA (Westwood). Unfortunately, you need to burn it to a disk.

You can also get C&C '95 and Tiberian Sun.
I don't know about C&C '95, but, you don't need to install or burn Tiberian Sun to hard drive/disk.
Might want to pick that up as well, considering the TFD version is broken.
I bought the original disks in the late 90's and early 00's. So, I have both although I lost them or damaged them. lol. I bought many C&C Collections and the standard boxes, I usually use TFD now.
Anyway, here's the direct link to Tib Sun. http://na.llnet.cnc3tv.ea.com/u/f/eagames/cnc3/cnc3tv/Classic/OfficialCnCTiberianSun.rar
