Did keychain continue to get upset again over stupid shit? Which was part of the reason why they have been quiet i beleive?

Guy, but please keep this discussion about OC itself, he's a thing of the past, in which he did enough damage as it is, keep this thread clean of it.
Yeah, let's talk about the mod. Speaking of which, I want some feedback on the HUD. Nice thing about the mockup stage is that things can be edited and changed with little effort.
Looks ok, the shape of the windows and elements is nice and modern. The shaded grfx (generally on the bottom of each window) could do with a cleaner look. Is that a compass - bottom center? That looks a bit complicated though I haven't looked at it in detail. I Think you should mock up a couple of varying styles and try to nail it down. I'm a fan of the old HUD because it was simplified enough to give the feeling it derived from Half-Life 'esq design. Will clients still be able to use custom colours? Edit: I guess I should mention Tesla did say he'd try to make it as optional as possible. Also nice texturing btw!
No, those displays at the bottom read "Lives - Team - Score" I like the hud mockup as-is really - only gripe is with the artistic choice of having a manhack represent armor but it's not really an issue. May want to get an opinion from players that use small resolutions though.

[img]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/21161113/OC/hud_small.jpg[/img] And I forgot to remove that little manhack from the armor in that picture, it and the health have been replaced with the HL2 pickup icons. They look much better now.
This looks great all this new content is really nice, so glad you guys are hard at work still

There's still something about the hud that feels clustered, though. Can't put my finger on it. Might just be cause its on a small resolution. I also don't think the last 3 digits of the timer up there are completely necessary. Are those miliseconds?

Something about it just doesn't feel right to me. It looks nice but doesn't feel nice. I could just be going paranoid, though. Nah, it'll look fine for display's like mine, its just that on a small resolution it'd take up a lot of space.

Stylistically it looks great, and I'm sure it'll look even better in game, but objectively speaking some of the text is pretty big.

I want an ETA on the next version, but that wont happen.
Blocky guns and just about the most useless and unnecessarily big looking UI I've ever even seen, I hope at least some of those lines have lower than 100% opacity

Looking great, the first time I played this mod wasn't the best as I was Permabanned from the official server. Can't wait to see the Steamworks release.
