Can you turn off the ability to see portals through walls? I've tried looking everywhere, & I can't seem to find the answer. I'm really looking forward to the game, but this small addition to the formula bothers me. This, and the odd removal of the sound effect you'd hear when you walk through a portal.

So you want to look at a static image and walk through a wall and exit another wall?
Go noclip in Garry's Mod.
What? You mean make it so you cannot see through the portal at all?
In the original game, there was a setting to limit how many portals you could see through..
Do you mean the fact that you can see the other player and his portals through walls?

Besides, shouldn't this be in the Valve Games and Mods section?
The OP is talking about the fact that in Portal 2, you can see the outline of your portals through walls (kinda like how in L4D you could see the players' outlines)
