Hello i recently played world of warcraft but just the 10 day trial and i found it very repetitive and found the whole intercface very confusing with the thousands of squares everywhere and i was just wondering whats the appeal and whether it becomes fun or not if i buy the full game.
WoW gives a false sense of achievement to people who do not have a real one, that is the appeal.
My friend finds achievment somehow he says the fun starts at level 80 this is about 1000 hours of playtime and then it becomes fun and he is addicted and plays over 70 hours per week.
The appeal is in WoW, you get to talk to other people with no life and other people who dress up as Night Elves.

Escape humanity's fucked up reality for a bit.
Achievements (fun).
I just like the big world, and exploring it.
WoW isn't fun until endgame unless you're pvp levelling
the world does seem huge and quite open.

1000 hours? No. Maybe 3-4 days played time.

Not including Northrend/Outlands it's the just slightly bigger than the Isle of Wight.
So northrend is huge?
Not really, no. It's about 2 thirds the size of Kalimdor, same with Outlands.
Whats the variation in environments like so does it go from snow to forests to keep it from getting to repetitive?

It's pretty diverse in all areas (except Storm Peaks and Icecrown) but places like Crystalsong are quite a sight.
You've got pretty much every kind of environment you can think of in there.

Not first time around
I got bored at 60. If you have literally nothing to do all day, get WoW
So if the wow players invaded cuba we would win
then they realise they can't use spells, swing an axe, armor is almost useless vs a gun and a airstrike cannot be stopped by stabbing the pilot in the kidney while the bomb bay is opening
When I was a kid (like 12 or something) I played for two years on and off and it got really boring.
Came back recently for two months (Got to level 70) and got really really bored again. Then I decided it ONE more chance and found that my account was permabanned because I let my friend use it once. (He didn't break the rules on it, they just found out I let someone else on my account)
[editline]06:33PM[/editline]
I even tried to appeal it and they were like no fuck you
Don't listen to the bandwagoners, it really is great fun. People just dislike it because sometimes people secede from social life from playing it so much.
Great for casual play
